Auburn, Ala. - Live music, arts & crafts and fine arts vendors, children’s activities, food, and more! It can only mean one thing - Auburn CityFest 2014 is here! Join Auburn Parks and Recreation on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Kiesel Park for Auburn’s largest FREE outdoor festival. CityFest is FREE to the public and is a rain or shine event.
This year’s live musical line-up includes Auburn-favorite, Dave Potts; Jive Mother Mary, a Southern rock power group currently residing in Athens, GA; and The Springs, a high-energy, up and coming country duo from Alabama. Purchase snacks and lunch from our food vendors and enjoy a picnic on the grounds near the entertainment pavilion while you take in the sounds of a CityFest with a Southern, country tune.
Festival patrons are invited to "Stomp in the Swamp" in the Children’s Imagination Station as we welcome the Southeastern Reptile Rescue Center, complete with alligators, snakes, and other rescue reptiles. While you’re there, visit with the Forest Ecology Preserve, scoop up some fun at our fossil dig, and test your wilderness skills at ScoutFest.
Don’t miss CityFest favorites such as inflatables, face painting, an ArtFest tent, and visits with Aubie for the kids; shop with over 80 unique arts & crafts and fine arts vendors; enjoy a non-profit showcase; tour the Juried Art Show at the Historic Nunn-Winston House; and stop by booths from our community sponsors!
