This week, enjoy an impromptu jam session with Dave Potts, Josh McKenzie, Jake Carnley, Noah Rubin, and hopefully a song or two with Martha's Trouble's own Rob Slocumb. Originally slated for the May 30 concert series performance, Potts called on a few of his musical friends to help fill in for a performance that's sure to be unforgettable. Enjoy two concerts with Dave Potts during the May Concert Series this year - May 16 and May 30!
Affectionately known by some as "Auburn's own James Taylor," Potts is a regular on the Auburn scene. Growing up in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains, Potts spent years living out of the back of his dusty red pick-up while making his way as a musician. Years of performing in coffee houses and college towns from coast-to-coast finally led him to Auburn in 1996, where he decided to make his home. In his time in Auburn, Dave's singing and songwriting have evolved to tell the stories of characters and small towns from across the South. A vivid storyteller and accomplished guitarist, Potts crafts contemporary folk songs with shades of country and Americana. You won't want to miss an evening with Dave Potts & Friends.
