GE Aviation Breaks Ground in Auburn

Auburn, Ala. - GE Aviation broke ground on a 300,000 square-foot advanced manufacturing plant on Monday, October 31.  The state-of-the-art facility will produce super-alloy machined parts for GE jet engines.  Governor Robert Bentley, U.S. Representative Mike Rogers and Alabama House Speaker Mike Hubbard joined GE Aviation for the momentous occasion.

Mayor Bill Ham, Jr. says "We're excited to welcome GE Aviation as Auburn's newest corporate citizen. We look forward to building a longstanding relationship with GE Aviation as they employ a skilled local workforce to manufacture innovative and advanced jet engine parts."
