Auburn, Ala. - The 2013 Winter Invitational Art Exhibition, hosted by the Auburn Arts Association, is currently on display at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. An opening reception will be held on Friday, Jan. 11 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Arts Center. The public is invited to attend.

The exhibition features 40 works relating to boxes, including paintings, photographs, ceramics, and a variety of both two and three-dimensional mixed media works. Pieces were created by 26 local and regional artists. The exhibition will be on display through Friday, Feb. 15. The public is invited to view the exhibition weekdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Exhibitions are free and open to all ages.
