Auburn, Ala. - Registration for Auburn youth fall baseball and softball is going on now online. Log on to www.auburnalabama.org/baseball to sign up through Friday, Aug. 9. Walk-in registration for baseball and softball will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 6 - 7 p.m. at the Dean Road Recreation Center, 307 S Dean Road. Online registration is $25 + online fees. Walk-in registration is $35. All participants must have a current birth certificate on file with Auburn Parks and Recreation.
In addition to fall leagues, a Fall Instructional Camp will be offered for baseball. This camp is for players and coaches to improve their fundamental knowledge and skills of baseball through training by qualified baseball professionals. The camp is for ages 7 - 12 and will be held Mondays - Thursdays, Aug. 5 - 28 at the Sports Academy. Registration will be held weekdays at the Harris Center, 425 Perry Street, now through Wednesday, July 31. The cost of the camp is $180.
All Auburn Parks and Recreation youth sports participants must have a birth certificate on file. Registration assistance is available through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Sports Voucher Program as funds are available.
