Renew Opelika Road

By using the interactive map, you can explore recommendations for future land use on Opelika Road and view the proposed streetscape improvements, and leave comments regarding the land use recommendations for specific parcels.

As one of the City's most important commercial corridors, Opelika Road was identified as a prime candidate for reinvestment in the recently adopted CompPlan 2030. Renew Opelika Road is intended to help revitalize and redevelop the area by encouraging new investment and reinvestment to enhance the visual environment, improve building utilization and lot configurations, fill vacancies and improve traffic flow and pedestrian accessibility. Renew Opelika Road will help maintain and grow the corridor as a vibrant, beautiful and economically-productive area.
