Project Description
Widening Richland Road to accommodate a 3-lane roadway section from the new elementary school being constructed to the east entrance of Village West Apartments. The project will also involve construction of right-turn lanes and sidewalks.
The second phase of the project consists of widening and realigning Richland Road at the intersection of Shug Jordan Parkway to accommodate dual left turn lanes and right turn lanes on Richland Road. This work will include installing an 8’ concrete multi-use path and new traffic signal components including mast arms, poles and a new cabinet.

The project began in March 2018. Alexander Contracting Co., Inc. is the contractor for this project.
