1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless! Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, toddler and/or preschooler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books!) before your child starts kindergarten. Attending a library story time counts as books read, and attendance can be logged for an activity badge! Use the Beanstack Tracker app to track your reading, and look out for your completion prize from the Auburn Public Library!

Participating is simple:

  • Register at auburnpl.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack Tracker app to any smartphone or tablet.
  • Read 1,000 books before your child starts kindergarten & earn prizes along the way.
  • Log your reading via Beanstack to complete the challenge.
