Permit Portal

The following forms shall be completed and submitted to the Water Resource Management Department as applicable for the proposed development project. All forms shall be submitted via email to [email protected].

  • As-built Survey Template (Excel) - This spreadsheet template shall be completed and submitted with all as-built drawings of infrastructure that is to be owned and maintained by the City of Auburn or the Water Works Board of the City of Auburn. As-built drawing requirements are detailed in Section 1.5 of the WRM Design and Construction Manual.
  • Backflow Prevention and Cross Connection Control Policy (PDF) - Customers of the Water Works Board of the City of Auburn should review the current policy for more information on backflow prevention requirements.
  • Backflow Protection Information (PDF) – This form shall be submitted for any development that proposes to connect to the Water Works Board of the City of Auburn’s water distribution system.
  • Backflow Testing and Certification - All testable backflow protection devices on service connections to the Water Works Board of the City of Auburn’s distribution system shall be tested and certified upon installation and on a required regular schedule thereafter.
  • Development Application for Water and Sewer Service (Excel) – This application form is required to be submitted for any development proposing to utilize water service from the Water Works Board of the City of Auburn or sewer service from the City of Auburn.
  • Grease Trap Size Calculation Data Sheet (PDF) – This form is required to be submitted for any development utilizing a grease trap.
  • Sewer Connection Permit Application (PDF) - This permit application shall be submitted and approved prior to any connections being made to the City of Auburn's sanitary sewer collection system.  All approved connections shall be coordinated with and done in the presence of a City of Auburn Inspector or a representative for the City of Auburn Water Resource Management Department.
  • Pump Station Calculation Worksheet (PDF) – This worksheet shall be submitted for any development that proposes to utilize a sanitary sewer pump station.
  • Stream Buffer Encroachment Application (PDF) - This form shall be submitted for any development that proposes to temporarily or permanently encroach upon a regulated stream buffer.
  • Waiver Request Form (PDF) - This form shall be submitted for any requests to waive a specific design and construction standard of the City of Auburn associated with a particular development and complying with Section 1.11 of the Water Resource Management Design and Construction Manual .
  • Water Main Connection Permit (PDF) – This permit application shall be submitted and approved prior to any connections being made to the Water Works Board of the City of Auburn’s distribution system. All approved connections shall be coordinated with and done in the presence of a representative of the Water Works Board of the City of Auburn or City of Auburn Inspector.
  • Post-development Water Quality Plan Form (PDF) - This form shall be submitted for any development within the following watersheds: Parkerson Mill Creek, Moore's Mill Creek, Saugahatchee Creek, Lake Ogletree.
  • Site Development Review Tool (Excel) - This tool is provided to assist engineers, designers, and developers determine whether or not their post-development stormwater quality plans meet the City's stormwater quality criteria, as specified in Section 4 of the WRM Design and Construction Manual.
  • LID/GI Form - This form shall be submitted for both residential and commercial developments to the Water Resource Management Division during the DRT process.
