Administration

The Administration Division provides leadership, guidance and administrative support to the Public Works Department. The director of Public Works leads the department in establishing major projects and goals for the City’s infrastructure and public assets located in public right-of-way and public facilities. The director also leads the department in assessing public assets to identify issues and prioritize improvements to renew or replace assets in a fiscally responsible manner.

The department strives to implement the City of Auburn’s strategic goals and works to maintain a high level of service to the citizens and users of our public assets. A goal of the department is to establish preventative maintenance procedures for each division to further improve the level of service provided by public works assets to Auburn citizens.
