Facilities Maintenance

The Public Works Facilities Maintenance Division provides support to all public facilities, performing minor maintenance work, managing contractors and maintaining contracts to keep City of Auburn property in efficient working order, supporting the staff and citizens who use these facilities.

The division works closely with staff at each facility to monitor the facilities and periodically performs condition assessments to develop recommendations for remedial actions to maintain current assets. A goal of this division is to perform preventative maintenance on existing facilities to extend the useful life and functionality of all components in a manner that is fiscally responsible to the City of Auburn.
